Since she's just using it as a personal blog, it doesn't really matter about professionalism.
Besides, using a CPanel would mean she'd have to code everything herself, and she probably doesn't know how.
Well considering its just for blogging, its ok.
The page view thing completely ruins the theme, completely, and there are some weird buttons that look like they are in a bad place.

Not entirely true. There are a lot of good free webhosts out their, plus you can get a free .co.cc domain. You won't be paying anything, so you can just take it at a slow pace and develop the site. It depends what kind of website you want. Forum, Blog, Gallery, etc.
