My Understanding of Finality as an Atheist

This is not an argument thread. If you plan on arguing about anything at all, please refrain from reading any further. With this being said, here is my thread:

When people of faith think of their afterlife, it brings them comfort. In this same manner, these people often feel saddened by the views of Atheists due to the fact that Atheists do not believe in an afterlife.

However, I contend that Atheists have a much better life compared to those who are religious.

We know that when we die, we die. That is it. Because of this, we live our life to the fullest. We do not get angry at trivial things, we do not blame our struggles on the supernatural. We take life for what it is make the best with what we have... on our own. We don't pray to make it better.

I realize that the religious are happy people. My point, however, is that the godless are not unhappy.

I completely agree, I was raised to be catholic and believe in God, though now I don't just because I feel it is uneccesary.

I don't believe in an after life. I don't need to be saved. I also don't believe that I need a God in order to be a good person. That's why I'm an Atheist.

That's very interesting, I like seeing the veiws of religion from other people.

This is very weird. I live my life to the fullest? Explain how Religous people don't.

Im Catholic.

Catholics are restricted by morale and prescribed ethics as well as trivial tradition that ties them to certain acts which could be preventing them from doing other things. However, people live their lives according to their own description of "success" (which is what makes this opinion).
