I want to make this statement before hand, I was an rsbuddy fag, I believed everything they told us, I believed Jacmob and Arbiter could defeat everything that JaGex could throw at them.
.
JaGex has finally taken a stand and changed botting forever, the updates they have done are far beyond the imagination that many bot developers had in mind and they continue to update their software in the same consistinency as the "bot-nuke". I am not saying bots will never come back but their numbers will be significantly reduced and much higher ban rates, the botting will never grow to %60 again. The fact is they(bot developers) never doubted JaGex's skill to combat them, however JaGex got caught up in not caring. However; JaGex has done a 180 and got their hearts back into the game, not the money. They have certainly showed this and I think this will continue to be the case for a long time, Runescape was onto a path of being ruined and they have not only turned off the path, but are speeding the other way.
But I would like to close on this note.
JaGex has truly done what we never thought they would, they stopped being a company and started being true programmers again.
And I, for myself in hoping to be a computer programmer one day would like to salute them, and hope I may too keep the good spirit they have now shown.
