IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!
I did the following all with in a hour:
I mined gold, rubies, diamonds, lava, and many more not so "valuable" stuff.
I Built a sick ass spiral staircase to the bottom of the world (as deep as it would let me go) and built a sick ass house / cave system.
I killed an entire pack of wolfs (6 of them) bare handed <<the first thing i did lol
and many many more cool ass things.
this game is dope!
 
Rubies? What color was it, and you can't mine lava.
 
i collected the lave in a bucket =/
idk if that is mining

unless my buddie lied to me because he said "let me see your bucket ill get you some lave" and came back with some shit in the bucket lol
 
there is no rubies in MC lol

An i guess that was good for your first time lol.

takes me like 30 min. to get all that stuff

I talked to him on aim, he was talking about redstone.
 
He means redstone when he said Rubies

And yes Minecraft is so fucking addicting!
