So, it is a clan site, is this againest the rules for people to check it out? It may be runescape related but it is totally different compared to these forums. Don't see why it should be removed, just trying to promote the clan.

The key word you used just then, promote, staff are very strict when it comes to advertising, you can say it isn't advertising all you want but if they see another link to a website, ESPECIALLY rs related, it's gone.

It was advertising a site you shouldn't. It's rs based.
