Go to North Carolina and they are even cheaper and with much more land. Florida they are cheaper as well.

My dad is selling his relatively small one story house for about 190k and moving to Florida. He can get a much bigger house in Florida and still have money left over.

But then again, it depends on where you want to live in Florida. Location, Location, Location.

The average house in my city is $980k. Shit is expensive.
