A BMW 328i

Can get one for around $6,000

A 2003 Lincoln Navigator

I can get this one for around $11,000 (Will have to finance it)

or a
96 Land rover

I can get this one for around $3,000

What do you guys think?

bmw, I don't think you need a big car, unless you do, in that case, the second one.

P.S. how many kilometers did the bmw run, and what year was it made, what condition is it in, did it have any crashes?

You gotta think about that too, not only the price.

Yes, I looked it all up. Its a 2000 model and has under 100,000 miles. I have not yet went to look at it, but the man said it has never been in a crash and runs great.

BMW for sure, because the BMW will look good almost anyway. You can either do it the black way (no offense) and get like 20"-24" rims or do it the hispanic way (no offense) 18". But the BMW, go for it.

BMW, FO SHO. You be pimpin' in your car, and chicks will dig. As well as blacks (no offense).

See, even Obama agrees with me Rhizoid. Anyways whats up with the cars? Did you make up your mind yet.

The Land Rover is more practical.

In my personal opinion, neither would suit my tastes. I'd rather have something a lot more practical and cost is always an issue. I wouldn't pay too much for a used car, especially if you've never driven them to test the transmission and such. You never know what might go wrong, after you buy it. I took automotive in High School, and some mates of mine often fixed used cars and sold them. Sometimes, they'd run into a problem they couldn't afford to completely fix, and would jury rig it to where they knew it would hold for a few months and then the buyer was kind of screwed after that.

I didn't buy any of those , I am still car hunting.

Thanks for the kind words CarpeNemo

Landrover = great for outdoor family trips.
Middle Car = great for drivebys/having sex in car/driving alot of people. (Landrover has quite a few seats too.)
BMW = if you're looking for speed.

Well, think about this, Rhiz. Don't buy a used car you can't pay for entirely.

If you have to finance it, and for some odd reason can't make the payments any more - you'll lose your car. It's better to have a cheaper, less fancy/beautiful car that you don't have to worry about than to have a nice car that you might lose at any time.

But under any and all circumstances - always check the car out good. If you don't know a lot about cars, take somebody who does with you. You'd be surprised how far a bribe of lunch will take you.

Thanks Carpe, I will take your advice and ask my auto crazed friend over a nice lunch at a Chinese buffet (His fav!)

Yeah, I knew this was gonna happen. We're talking about realistic cars, not Old/Oil money toys.

Rhiz, did you ever find a new car? I'm quite curious to know how it worked out for you.
