It's not an "non-educated assumption" it's a personal opinion, and by looking at your most recent threads they're all useless.WetRain said:Actually I did this because I had forgotten to when I first joined. This has nothing to do with RG points.
I have actually NOT been making pointless threads. I have been making threads that are fun to read, teach other members things they may not know, and help me learn about the community. I appreciate your opinion, but not the negativity, especially if it is untrue or a non-educated assumption.

1300th is a flame, oooh yea.
They're useless, they don't benefit anyone, nor do they serve a purpose except for people posting their opinions.WetRain said:Then why, may I ask, do people post in them?

His thread isn't involved, obviously no one is gonna rant on a guy about the passing of his grandparents. I'm just saying most of your threads are useless. And like the_lol (who actually turned out to be a good member after the competition before this) you're spamming the forum with useless threads.WetRain said:as is about 90% of the posts on runegear. Every now and then there is a useful piece of information, but other than that, it's just opinions and thoughts about things. My threads can in fact teach some players different lessons such as in my "Most you've every looted from a monster" thread. If a user looks at this thread and sees that so and so has looted a 90m item from a monster he never heard of, it might induce him to do some research on the topic and possibly kill the monster he read on.
If you look at someones thread where they talk completely about themselves, do you call it useless? Lets take Jonathan's thread about his Grandfather (http://runegear.net/Thread-My-Grandad) who we are all praying for.. What do you take from this story he has described to you and your fellow Runegear members. Personally, the thing I most learned from this thread was to see my grandparents more often and treat them with more respect.
The point I'm trying to get across is that even though a thread may appear to be useless or unhelpful at the moment, In the long run, it may provide you with information that can help you in a sticky situation.
BTW, the most useless threads are hate threads, where people rant like crazy. If you look at my threads, I have not made ONE of these.
