We made a road trip during spring break and saw the arch.
Do you live in St. Louis?

No, don't live in St. Louis. I'm on the west side of the state.

Ah, I see. Well, I like the first and third. The third one especially because it has the view of the city buildings.
Xypher said:Ah, third one didn't load for me at first. I like that one a lot as well, though I do agree that it would look better without people.
Spaz said:First one is the best tbh, lighting is good if not a bit too dark, the fact that the arch goes off the picture is actually better
Second is being dominated by the sun and the lack of clouds makes it a bit bland and dark due to the sun
Third also has too much strong sun, plus the buildings are v ugly, the people are a shame but aren't the worst part.
Try to work more on the lighting, if you are looking for an overexposed shot then try not to have a too busy pic, make it simple like a tree or a cool rock or something. Maybe a cliff side looking over onto the sea with some clouds and a bit of sun beaming down if you can get the shot.
