So I bought MW2 for pc a few days ago. But I cannot play it online. It says ''Connecting to IWNet'' and it's not because it take ages. I found out it's something with my NAT to do. Can somebody help me?

If this was Xbox I could tell you.

Maybe try resetting your modem/router.
If not, view the FAQ's on Steam?

What nat type does it show you? It sometimes does that to me on steam.
If you are closed, reset your internet. And if it still doesn't work, try allowing in your firewall settings.

Firewallks is off. My router is on ''strict''. I'll try reset it. It's just so annoying. The reason why I bought the game was to play online.

Yep. It was like that until i reset my router. Only thing is, you need a good connection to quickly find matches.

@Crysis. I am told. But I allways have em. Restarted nuffing happened.

Have you opened the port for it?
There is usually a port for it.

You don't need to open your firewall.

Yes, you don't need to. You need to allow MW2 to go through it.

You open the xbox ports

Just Listen OP

Open 3074 and for the IP go on your xbox and find your xbox ip And put the last set of numbers into the part on yoru router

Like when you foward a port its

3074 - Both - 192.168.1.*** - Check mark

3174 - Both - 192.168.1.*** - Check mark

And there is another one I forget what it is
I have not fucked around with it for a long time Since once you forward your ports you dont need to in the future
