Guide to 99 Mining​

Starting off:
I always advise you to upgrade your equipment regularly, try and obtain a dragon pic axe as soon as possible. It can help you get almost double the experience. The road to 99 mining is a very long one, but it is well worth it in the end. Following my guide to getting 99 mining will help you gain over 70m, and that fancy cape you've always wanted.

The road to 99 mining takes up to 250 hours to finish.​

Level 1-15

Ore: Tin
Estimated Time: 1 hour
Location: Lumbridge Swamp

This is how to get to the tin.

Level 15-55

Ore: Iron
Estimated Time: 10 hours
Location: South East Varrock, and Dwarven Mines
Extra Advise: If you want to keep the iron which i advise you do, then mine at Varrock. You can make around 1.1m from 15-55.

This is how to get to Varrock


This is where to mine at in the Dwarven Mines

Level 55-77

Ore: Granite
Estimated Time: 38 hours
Location: Mines under Bandit Camp
Extra Advise: Bring one tele-tab of your chose, and 20-24 water silks.

Here is how to get to the Granite

Level 77-80

Ore: Coal
Estimated Time: 15 hours
Location: Living Rock Cavern
Extra Advise: Mine on world 84, its the world everyone goes to for the Living Rock Cavern. Use pack yaks if you can.

Here is how to get there, this is used for level 80-99 as well.


Here is the layout of the Cavern

Level 80-99

Ore: Gold
Estimated Time: 190 hours
Location: living Rock Cavern
Extra Advise: Mine on world 84, its the world everyone goes to for the Living Rock Cavern. Use pack yaks if you can.

You should make at least 50m from gold alone.

Do you have to be a member to get the skill capes?
 
Yes, you have to be a member to get any skill cape.

Thanks, I don't have much experience with it. I've been chatting with my friends about it all day.
 
That sounded a bit dirty to me for some reason. I'll try to ignore it though.
 
Why not 70-80 mithril? in the mining guild and 98-99 runite ore, just lots of world switching
 
Mithril isn't very fast, and it would take twice as long.
Runite is worth alot, but its not fast. it would take like a month..

That is why I like mining, althogh using neXus iBot was extremely cool. I got 99 mining and 45 million coins in my level 3 account but I was sucide botting on purpose too see who long it will take Jagex to find me and they eventually found me and it ended up in a ban.
 
You can just call it auto miner pro lol. Nexus is the name of the bot, yes. But not everyone knows that.
 
I'm playing like I used to on previous accounts, back when I was a hardc0re Runescaper.
