So, I recently took a look at my task manager, and saw "MRT.EXE" running in the background (multiple tasks)

See Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/6tx9ce

Is it a virus? If so, anyone know how to remove it?

This could just be windows malicious software removal tool at work, but might be a virus too (according to Google), I suggest you install Malwarebytes and run a full scan, There's a keygen for it floating around on some torrent sites.

If it is a virus, use CCleaner its a good tool for shit like that.

Lol what are you on about? That's a general junk cleaner, not an anti-malware/virus removal tool.

@OP: Run roguekiller, tdsskiller, and mallware bytes one right after each other in safe mode, then tell me if it found anything.

Ran Malware bytes as well as a norton scan, didnt pick anything up.
