@Monster Scammed for 550$ ON Other site

NOTE: This deal happened on HF. @Monster

So basically a lot of people already know what happened. I was buying an Instagram account off Monster, He was selling it for 500$ to someone else and we agreed upon 550$ paypal for his Instagram account @Bestseniorquote.s


He was a pretty trusted guy on FK, so i thought it wont be a problem going first.

Another problem was Paypal does not allow to send money in my country due to some restrictions. So i asked one of my friend to send 350$ to his paypal, and the rest 200$ i was gonna get exchanged(My BTC->PP) on HF and get sent to him.

I sent the payment on 30th November 2015, Since then the guy hasn't been online. I found his KIK and tred to contact him but he isnt repyling.

Also, I can't find the account anymore on instagram. It is disabled or the name has been changed.

I Doubt i'll get what i paid for anymore. Just be cautious
 
I can vouch, @Monster did indeed scam him...

He also pulled the ig @Face off me.
 
can you not just charge back? friends and family has the option of "unauthorized claim", cant you just do that

@media , he doesn't want to charge back as the PayPal was his friends. And his friends doesn't want to get limited or even slightly risk it. (I'm the same, wouldn't risk my PP no matter what )
 
yeah i wouldnt have trusted him seeing as there's atleast 5 different scam reports/warnings open on the guy.
 
Knowing that he was mod at one point scares me..

Also, @kikhf , I believe since he has a sales thread on here sellin the exact same IG, this could potentially be considered as on site because he is selling that item on forumkorner.

This is similar with other reports such as Chills' and Terror Squads' (items sold off site, however they had a sales thread on FK so it was considered onsite.)

I'm really only throwing all of this out so you at least have the chance of recieving some sort of justification, whether he compensates you to not get banned on here, or he simply gets banned on here.
 

I thought anyone could get banned for offsite-scamming? shouldn't he be straight-up banned

so lets say you make a sale, and the buyer charges back. what could the possible consequences be? how does paypal limiting work? sorry for the noob questions, just trying to further my knowlage.
