Monkey Madness Scam

Well i just saw a thread about monkey madness, and it made me remember about when i did it.

After i completed the quest, back in like 2006, i decided to try something.

I went back to where all the people are in the cages (where you get locked up) and i started saying, "Who needs help completing this quests? It's really hard, trust me you need help." Usually within no time, someone would answer.

So you help them out, then you pretty much bring them to the monkeys without telling them to put on protect from melee. They usually die, if they don't, then you go up the ladder and go up the ladder again. They would usually still have protect from melee on, but it wouldn't help because he would then have a bunch of ranging monkey attacking him. Finally, if that didn't work, i would take them into the basement and make sure they are following me. I would make it so i would walk in front of one of the ground traps, and since they are behind me, they would be constantly be getting hit 30s. They also get poisoned.

From doing that, i probably made a good 30m. Got full guthans, dharoks, glory (t), dragon. It was some crazy times.

But tell me, anyone remember that?

Never heard of this, but it seems like a sweet idea. First time I did Monkey Madness though I was following a guide.

It's funny you said this because I am doing MM on someone's account right. Anyways, I have never heard of this. It wouldn't work on me since I memorize the whole quest

I don't often do quests, but that sounds like a hell of a lure, ha.

Have you tryed since update...?

I used to do this, I always lured them and then I try to lower their hp and make them waste their food, then I say follow me. then I poison and kill him by the archers and scorpion.

Got around 12mill doing that, was fun and lolzy
