Introduction
Sometime around August of 2013, I made it my personal goal to become a member of the forum team. I had no idea how I would achieve this, but I knew that I wanted to become a member of the team. A few members heard of my goal and gave me some advice. I will shout them out below. Anyways, ever since August, I've been doing my best to achieve this. There were a few things that I changed about myself and presence on the forum. First of all, I improved my grammar. This was rough for me, but it definitely was worth it in the long run. I achieved the Grammar Freak award almost two months after I decided to employ the use of proper grammar. Overall, it made me seem more professional. That brings me to the second thing that I did, which was acting more mature and professional. This was key to my success. If I was around insulting members of the forum and acting like my shoe size (@Jason), I would have never made it this far. As I improved my grammar and maturity, I also began to learn the rules and started reporting posts. I believe that this was key to my success. 1634 is the total number of posts I reported. I received compliments quite often from staff members on how efficient I was with reporting posts. Through reporting, I was able to get myself recognized and develop a wider knowledge of the rules. Overall, these three things helped me most on the way to achieve my goal.

Shout Outs
There are a few people I would like to thank most for helping me on my way.

@Sector: I miss you, bud.

@Jason: You helped me so much. At first, I had no idea how to reach towards the overall goal of becoming staff. With your advice, I was finally able to achieve my goal. We also became great friends in the process. I'm eternally grateful for all that you have done for me, as well as the site.

@Michael: Thanks for helping me continue to strive towards this position. Without your kind words, advice, and friendship, I wouldn't be where I am today. Even though I was kind of upset that you were promoted, I think it all worked out in the end. I'm glad that I can consider you a friend.

@"Cann!bal": Your work around the forum inspired me to reach higher standards. I always thought of you as a role model, but we have become great friends. You are a user whom everyone should look up to.

@"Gr33d": Grthirtythreed, you have been a friend of mine from the start. You have always been putting in work with the forum. Plus, you put in a good word for me with the big dog. From buying into Infinite to finally becoming staff, you have always been there.

@Narc: You know what you've done for me.

@Color: gg.

@Andy: You were the first one who taught me about reporting posts, and look where I am today. Without your advice, I probably wouldn't have gotten as far as I did.

Last but not least,

@Philly: This site has been my home for the past year and some odd months, and I can't thank you enough for that. You've managed to create a welcoming, open forum that houses all sorts of different people. It's honestly astonishing to see how much work you put in daily, weekly, and yearly. Without you, I wouldn't even have gotten this opportunity. This forum has helped me in so many ways that I can't even begin to explain it. Thank you so much.

Conclusion
Like I said, this forum has been my home for the past year. It has changed me as a person. I have met so many wonderful people from all over the world that I get to call my friends. Hell, this has been one of the best years of my life. You guys have helped me with school, girls, money, life problems, and even more. I can't believe how much this forum has improved my overall well-being.

Thanks to everyone on the site. I can't wait to help keep this forum safe and interesting for all members. I won't let you down.

Congrats on this amazing milestone. Its amazing how hard you tried and now your staff!

Wow first it was @Narc now you? I'm proud of you two! Nice work on the achievement. I like when people really work for a goal and achieve it after much struggle.

This is by far the best, most thought out milestone thread I have witnessed. Congrats on all you have achieved, @"Leader". I wish you the best with your remaining goals.

Congratulations, Leader. Good luck, man, and please don't change. :)
Thanks for the shout out, by the way, glad to know I was so helpful! Oh wait, nevermind. ;P

I'd actually really love to thank you for the mention, and the great read. You know from the moment you want to achieve something, no matter how hard you try and all the things that bring you down, you WILL achieve it. And you did. I am truly sorry for what had happened on the anniversary, as it was always you that I wanted promoted. I am proud to be working alongside you, one of my best friends on the forum. This is going to be great.
