Minimum 35 Characters Per Post

I know this might be a bit anoying at first but I think this would force users to post higher quality post and therefore give the forums more quality.

I would also suggest if this gets approved, disallow "35 characters" posts to give a short post 35 characters.

I don't think low quality posts is a big issue at the moment. Uzi has made a post asking for something like this on another site, but I don't know if he wants it here.

It wouldn't matter to me if a 35 character limit for posts was added because I don't make posts that short.

Might consider raising it to 20-30 or something along those lines. If that works, I'll keep it like that, if not, I'll either raise it to 35 or lower it again.

I find a post with few words and no explanation very annoying.

Also very annoying is someone starting a thread such as Have you seen this? only to find a link to a dumb Youtube clip that the whole world has already seen or Can someone help..... only to find them asking something basic like their torch doesn't work (try new batteries you fool). >.< I have not seen such threads on UG I must add.eace:

If you think a post is low quality, then you can easily report it for that reason.
