Minecraft?

Okay so I've seen a lot of people selling Minecraft codes and people posting about it in the game section, I've honestly never played it.

I was wondering what it was like and what you can do in it?

Please don't tell me to go try it *Links URL*, I'm trying to find out before hand if I might interest me.
 
You can do what ever you want in it. It's a sandbox type game.
 
It's a great game. I was skeptical at first, but the amount of things you can do in such a simple game is amazing.
 
It's a game for graphics virgins. If you have never experienced good graphics, or, you don't prefer good graphics, go for it. It's not my type of game, although it is endless. My brother plays it, and apparently it's super addicting or something. I don't prefer it, as I find runescape more interesting.
 

It's not supposed to have good graphics. That's kind of the point
 

I prefer good graphics and I still play it. It's a like or dislike sort of game. It's not in between lol.

+ It's made in java. How can it have AMAZING graphics?
 
Its a low graphics awesome sandbox game. You can make traps, build unlimited sized castles, houses, mines, etc. I've built cities, houses, barns, pve monster arenas, lava traps, guest houses, tree farms, huge underground house mines. etc.. you name it. It can be made so long you can make it out of blocks. Its kind of like playing lego's but it is a lot more advanced....

One of my favorite things i've ever done is making a trap for my friend. I made a huge house mansion. I decided to make a doorbell trap. I told him "ring the door bell, its awesome! Its right in front of the door!". When he pushed it, it triggered a small melody to start, and at the end a dynamite directly underneath him would blow up and kill him. Was pretty awesome.

Also in this game you can host your own private servers for free to play online with friends by using Hamachi, or join other public servers/play offline single player

I lost your point... Im sitting here on my mac laptop... watching Last Man Standing on my xbox... while my other laptop bots my high alchs to 95 mage...

how do i not have time on my hands. In fact every day i have about 14 hours of my own time to where I can do whatever I want lul.
 
Off-topic but, what bot do you use for high alch?

OP: seems like you use all your time playing minecraft to do all that stuff.
 
I would really recommend it, when I first saw it I dismissed it because of it's graphics, but you just need to hvae a go & watch some YouTube videos. It's really fun and addicting. Especially with friends!

not a bot...more like autoclicker lol.

OFT:Soul wars having no random events + autoclick set to 1sec 75 milliseconds and placed over the high alch + having the item your high alching placed directly where your high alch spell would be in your inventory = can alch 24/7. I've leveled my mage from 61 to 89 in just 3 days. Not only for about 4 hours for the 3rd day (today)

OT:Yes. I definitely recommend minecraft. It isn't very fun in singleplayer because it gets repetitive, but in multi-player it never gets old. We burned down my huge ass house that I spent 2 days building today. It was marvelous, lol
 
Oh, well thanks for the posts guy, xzile you definitely gave me a better understanding of the game.

Also, I'm curious, is worth trying on a f2p account, or only if you upgrade?

If you want, I've got an account that I used to use before I got my own, that still works, that you can use to play until you want to buy your own account.
 

Hmm, yes I would quite appreciate that, thank you.

That honestly couldn't be a better way of finding out whether or not I'm interested in playing.

Terraria is also pretty fun if you are thinkin about getting minecraft. But instead of 3d its 2d.
 
Graphics on Terraria are better but ^^ ..

Minecraft is addicting but if you stop playing, you won't go back
