I have no fear of dying nor do i plan to, You may be a coward but surely im not. the military is my choice and my definite choice to live my life.

And if i may die it won't be for oil, it will be for what i believe is right.

what i want you to do is watch the hurtlocker, After the symbolic message of love and war is passed through your mind you will know what is going threw mine, I have a thirst for battle and a thirst to fight. I am proud to live in America and if i die defending my fellow soldiers or defending my station i will die with a smile.

I'm no coward. If I had to fight for my country and the rights and freedoms that I cherish, I would without even thinking twice. You're right, it is absolutely your choice to sign x years of your life away. But I'm just saying it's not something to be taken lightly.

If you did die over in Kandahar or in some hole in Iraq, it would absolutely be for oil, what exactly do you believe in that you would be defending over there?

I've seen The Hurtlocker. Didn't do much for me. Why do you have a thirst for battle and a thirst to fight? That's a sad way to live your life...

I'm glad that you're proud to be an American, I'm proud to be a Canadian and I would both kill and die for my brothers in arms (that includes the Americans!) or defending my post as well, without even flinching.

I find it very offensive as an American to what fatMatch just said, it doesn't matter what's worth fighting for, it's just the fact that your fighting for what you love, what you cherish, your family, friends, and Americans, not just oil, or gas, people, fellow Americans.

I really dislike you now, I am proud to be American, I came from Estonia, and all my friends said it sucks here, but it doesn't, it's a lot better then what you think.

It's so hard to believe how little pride Americans have in their own country, and how they don't appreciate what they have, or the rights they have.

My family came here with practically nothing, but we kept our hopes up, and America has delivered, it's all about striving to get what you want.

Sorry if I'm raging, I just can't stand when people say this, try living in Estonia, and do the things you do here, you will be jailed within the first 10 minutes of arrival.

It absolutely does matter what's worth fighting for. I'm not going to come to your house and blow your brains out because I want your JELL-O mix so that my family can have a little desert after the meal we can already put on the table. The so-called 'wars' being fought in the east are in no way hitting close to home, and your deployed troops aren't defending your country, they're protecting oil pipelines for Christ's sake. What does that have to do with Freedom of speech or the right to a fair trial?

I'm not an American, I'm a Canadian who lives well below the poverty level in government housing projects. I consider myself rich in terms of what I do have.

Don't be sorry, you have the right to speak your mind.

And I won't try living in Estonia, Ukraine was bad enough.

Sort of offensive. I want to follow in my fathers foot steps which he was a war hero. And someday I hope to be as well.

I don't mean to be offensive, but I'm very opinionated on what's going on in the east and all of the propaganda bullshit that the armed forces feed the youth. I remember being 5 years old with my best friend going to air shows, and wanting to fly a jet for the Air Force one day. I also remember fully armoured and outfitted hum-vee's being there with armed troops handing out pamphlets to sign up, and letting my and my pal hold their C-7 assault rifles. "How cool" we thought, not at the time thinking that we were holding a device DESIGNED FOR THE PURPOSE OF KILLING, nothing else.

That same friend went on to buy into all of the patriot fight-and-die for your country bullshit, and he got shipped home in a box last April. Maybe that has something to do with why I'm so hard pressed about what's going on in the east.

But my friend was sent home in a FUCKING BOX with a letter saying he played a key role in some war effort. The reality is he was blown up by some fucking roadside bomb because he was over in some country that the American and Canadian military have NO FUCKING RIGHT BEING IN.

He also told me about having to RPG a mud hut because some fucking 12 year old was shooting an AK at him & his squad. Doesn't that sound like a good time? Fuck. The irony of it was that the other kid also bought into similar propaganda, which made him willing to fight and die for his country too.
But who do you think had more of a right to be firing on the other?.. and who was REALLY the one fighting for their country.

Shake your father's hand for me. There's nothing wrong with an aspiration like that.

no matter where i die it won't be for oil, it will be for my actions.

Also your canadian, what gives you any right or knowledge of what goes on in the AMERICAN military. There are thousands of small fights going on within our military that only the seals assigned to it, the president and there commanding staff know of.

On the off chance that you are K.I.A, what do you feel it would be for?

EDIT: I see you changed your post. Our countries are tighter in combat than you think. I know just as much about what's going on as you do, I have access to the same news resources.

What do you know about those seal-assigned battles going on that only the President and commanding staff know of?

Nothing. That was a terrible rebuttal.

The funny thing is all you know is oil, your thoughts about the war are oil.

and if i was K.I.A i wouldn't know because im not dead am i?

EDIT: i know i have been told things from people i shouldn't have been told.

im going to a recruiter tomorrow, When im stationed ill be sure to tell you what the fuck im fighting for.

Well if not for their natural resources, why the fuck else do our Countries occupy Afghanistan & Iraq?

If you were killed in action you wouldn't know what you were fighting for? There's a red flag that screams don't enlist.

You've been told things that you shouldn't have been told? I call bullshit. Any peons that you would know just follow orders anyways, and any rumors you've heard from friends around town or people that aren't enlisted are just that, rumors, and a ploy for propaganda.
