Middle Man?

Could somebody explain to me how a middle man works? What are the steps for using a middle man?
 
Im pretty sure it goes like this The MM has to be trusted of course you and the other person give the MM the info to whatever he secures them and sends them both to you at the same time.


I think
 
1. You contact who ever you want to MM for you (Philly, Quad, Christy, etc.)
2. You get all parties involved into a group chat
3. Inform the MM what the deal is and who is giving what to whom
4. You send necessary info to the MM (PRIVATELY NOT THROUGH GROUP CHAT)
5. MM secures account or whatever your are trading/selling
6. MM informs the other person he has the account secured so he can pay you (Or you can have the MM get the money and send it to you) or send the MM the info the account traded
7. After securing all accounts and whoever gets is getting paid gets their money the MM will send the account to the new owner(s)

Wrong section. But this is how it works.
Step 1: Find a trusted MM
Step 2: You and the person you are having a deal with both give whatever you guys were wanting to trade/sell each other to the MM
Step 3: The MM takes their time, and secures whatever the things given to him were
Step 4: The MM gives each person what they wanted from the deal
