Microsoft Security Essentials?

Who here uses MSE? I think it is the best anti-virus program and it's free! I even think it's better then norton, when ever there is a potential thread it will remove it in one simple click. Who here uses this program?

Ya actually there was just a member that was talking about it. Thats funny you bring up the Norton because there is a thread that show Norton being shut down by stupid free version of Malabytes. Norton sucks doesn't take much to beat it.

I don't have Microsoft Security Essentials. Though, as per what I have heard from others, It is better than other AVs. Does it require genuine windows? I was gonna try it. But, someone also said, it requires genuine OS. I don't have genuine OS.

As the above poster has said, I don't use MSE - but have heard great things about the product. Apparently it is lightweight and extremely effective, however, I still favour my Avira over any other AV.

Just a stupid question why would lightweight have to do anything? Or do you mean doesn't take up very much room?

I personally dont like norton. For me, AVG or McCaFe is the best anti-virus software that keeps ur PC well protected and safe.

I did use MSE but it lacks the potenital on start up as it pushes my cpu to 100% causing a slow painful load.
