Hello, everybody. Today I bring you the most amazing Runescape Merchanting tool ever created. Merchz.com.

What is Merchz?​
Merchz is a merchanting tool developed by the clan Smokin Mils to help users get involved in the merchanting world. How? By displaying live graphs of items one could flip or invest in.

Why is that good?​
Well, for starters, it saves you the trouble of pc'ing yourself, so you can profit off it as soon as you start flipping, instead of loosing a little cash on the price check, making it back with the first flip and then starting to get some profit.

Here's some images (NOTE THAT THEY'RE NOT UPDATED, THIS ARE JUST A REFERENCE OF WHAT YOU'D BE ABLE TO SEE, UPDATED BY THE MINUTE):

Tier 1: Live flipping items and prices:


Tier 1: Live graphs, with buy/sell prices and the changes the item has gone through in "x" time.


Tier 2: Short term investment suggestions:


Tier 3: Long term investment suggestions! This doesn't only go through the live flipping prices lists but through the whole GE database, and tells you which items are good to invest in! I'd post an image here if it wasn't extremely huge, lol.


Tier 4: All new! This is going to be implemented in a really near future... TEXT NOTIFICATIONS. Merchz will contact you via SMS to tell you when an item you want updates on has reached a certain price (you set that price). No more logging in every 30 minutes to see how it goes, Merchz will tell you when your flip/investment is probably over so you can start another one on the run!

Now to the not so fun part. Merchz is a paid service. When you think about it, it is pretty obvious since they're doing various price checks every minute which, as everybody knows, has a cost.

Sounds like it would useful for those new to flipping. Great concept also. As for me, I'll do just fine without it. Thanks for sharing though!

Yeah, it's definitely a spoon feeder for those who want to start flipping. And, in all honesty, a really amazing time saver if you're in a hurry or you want to invest in an item.

Bump. Rares have been added now! I'll be editing the OP soon.
At the bottom of the flipping list there's going to be live updates of the prices on rares from R Quark. There's a few bugs but they're being worked out. The rest of the system works flawlessly.

Also, after a little more time of using Merchz I've learned that it just isn't a spoon-feeding tool, as it doesn't just give you the margins on the item at the time you want to flip them but a timeline and the graphs with which you can make A HECK OF A LOT more money than just some margins.

I agree with you. If he thinks merching is dead, then he just doesn't know how to do it right and needs to buy my guide ASAP. lol
 
Silly people. You don't need a guide to merchant. Buy iron boots med, sell 10k higher. Easy as chicken. Also, fish pies, raurg bones, broodoo shield, ahrim hood, just sell for a bunch above med.

Doesn't work like that when the market price is above the current price. For example divine was 428m yesterday and was going for around 410m. lol
 
Then don't buy divine. What I mean is buy the items people sometimes need but nobody ever sells, so people who are desperate for a quest/whatever would buy for 200-300% over mid just so they can finish their silly quest.

Why would I not buy divine? Just because the current street price is under the market price, doesn't mean I shouldn't flip it. In fact, this is one of the times that it is most profitable.

EDIT:
And one item that you could apply to what you said is a spade. Spades are needed for quests/treasure trails/etc.
 
I suppose you might be right. I can't buy a divine anyways. ONly have 1.8m...
 
Looks useful, but it assumes that you have at least 100m+ to begin with.

No it doesn't.

Although the more money you have, the easier it is to make more profit. It is still very easy to make profit through flipping even with about 1m cash stack.
 

It's hardly worth it though. I make about 5k an hour. I just buy odd items bulk and sell them on a second account
 

5k an hour flipping with 1m? I could show you how to make a lot more than that. Maybe you should read the free guide here on RuneGear, I am pretty sure it could help you out.
 
this would be helpful for the people looking to get there feet wet in merchanting but after that services no purpose shanks (deathcrow) way works out great and what i use and i had no knowledge of how to merch before it

Sorry you feel as though it serves no purpose after you know basics of merchanting. I could agree with that if all we offered was straight live prices, though we do much more. I actually feel as though many people under-utilize the graphs alone, being they are more meant to be historical representations of price, and not just a quick set of prices to go off of.

The true value of the live graphs lies within the ability to, since we cannot boost limits anymore, make educated short term investments/long term flips based on the pricing history of items... or to know to avoid an item because it is likely sink a bit while flipping.

I personally have been merchanting on RuneScape for a decade now, and pretty much only use Merchz these days. The rare prices+graphical histories are priceless, and the tier 2 + tier 3 upgrades are extremely helpful with automatically finding good items to invest in.
