member of the month [ site &/or groups ]

you like my idea?

i've been thinking & i think we should have a member of the month, it could be based on posts, rep, referrals, etc. the staff could come up with the member or could come up with 5 members they find worthy of it & have the community decide, then the winner would get an award for motm (permenant). & if not for the whole site i was thinking that system could be implemented inside of the groups, if not all .. some. also, if just a member doesn't sound good, we could do it or the best group, could be based on most sctive group, most giveaways, most helpful, & etc. as we know some people are members of multiple groups, but i don't think that would cause a big flaw in the system, if you call that a flaw .. i was thinking we should use all three ( member of the month for the site, group of the month, & member of the month (group)). as for the rewards, the member of the month would get an award, the whole group or just the leaders would get the award, & the member that won for their group would get the award.

comment which ones you like/dislike & why/why not

This would actually very interesting, only downside is that there is tons of members. Besides that it's a yes for me

yeah, there's a lot of members, but that would make the contest better & would really make members post hq stuff & want to give back to the community. only the hq of hq would stand out since there are soo many of us

We actually use to do this back when the site was good lol. I vote yes.

This seems like a great idea. I know other sites have it, and I don't see why we do not. I hope to see this implemented.

It might take a while before Admins and Staffs memebers decide to implement this

Really anyone could host it. This can't be implemented into the actual site. I think Jimmy use to host it. Just PM him.
 
I'll host this if people want to contribute towards the cost of the award. I could pay most of it.

That sounds great! I love it when members help contribute towards a common goal. Does anyone else have any pocket change they can spare?
