McDonald's must pay $ 17,500 to an employee gaining weight 30 kilos
A Brazilian court ordered the U.S. fast food chain McDonald's and should pay $ s17.500 a former manager of one of its restaurants to have gained at work, according to the Associated Press.
The plaintiff, a 32 year old man whose identity has not been released, worked at McDonald's 12 years during which he won nearly 30 kilos.
The man claimed he was "forced" to taste the food each day to ensure that maintained standards of quality burgers for McDonald's sent "mystery shopper" to visit the restaurants and report on the food, service and cleanliness setpoint Associated Press.
The complainant also said the company offered free lunches to employees.
Meanwhile, the U.S. network announced through a statement from its offices in Brazil is considering appealing the ruling.
