Massive lag in windows movie maker

I updated my windows movie maker yesterday to latest version
I was having some saved movies which were working fine before update
Now they are lagging like hell
Any help?

Why are you using windows movie maker first of all?
Try Sony Vegas, it's much better and you have so much more applications.
I think you need to save those movies again as a (the new one) windows movie maker file.

Still lagging + If I make a new movie and add video in it then it lags too

You need to render it, if you want to watch it without any lag.
Editing program are not there to watch vids, just for editing them.
I think you are talking about the preview that you can watch.

You got me correct, preview is lagging which comes at left top of the screen. How to render? You mean saving it?
sorry I failed in explaining little bit

One more thing: Only 50fps or higher videos lag in new version
In old ver, it was fine

You can see 'render it' (or just 'render', idk how it works with window movie maker) in the menu.

Yeah I got it.
Just need to click render and it loads the video again to 100 % and finish the lag
