Marking forums as read.

Hello,

I have a problem that everytime I mark my forum as read, it loads the marking forum as read link fine but it does not actually mark the forum as read. It still has the highlighted things next to the forums saying that there is new posts, but there isn't.

If you need a test account or something let me know and I will make one.

Still doesn't work. Is there a way that I can backup just the forum users and the all the posts I made so that I can see if it's a plugin making it do that?
 
Try it on a differnet theme, if that doesnt work then I dont know whats wrong.
As I mentioned it worked for me so im a bit stuck.
 
I now have a different issue. I get this when updating to MyBB 1.6.8

 
When updating mybb your not ment to upload inc/settings.php
 
I have in the past and it has worked fine. What I have I done wrong this time and how can I fix it?
 
Well it hasnt worked this time.
Id just try and upgrade again.

Are you sure, Bleeps? I have never heard that before.


McLovin, make sure you're uploading files as ASCII and images as BINARY.
 
Point 2 of Upgrade instructions;

Using an ftp client (FlashFXP, FileZilla, SmartFTP), upload the contents of the 'Upload' directory to the directory in which you have a previous version of MyBB installed, with the exception of uploading of the following file:
./inc/settings.php

I always check the upgrade instructions just incase they change something
 

I never knew that!

Now I know why I have trouble when upgrading.
