I can't find the issue.
Until it's fixed just click the new post image at the side of each forum.
It will make it as though you've read all posts from that forum.

The error only applies in sections with sub-forums. There's nothing we can do as it's a MyBB error in general (there's been submissions on the mybb.com site). Until 2.0 comes out, or a fix is released there's nothing we can do.
