You want to give some freshness on your desktop? Tired of default wallpapers and thems? Then this is the right thread for you. I obtained few really nice guides on desktop customizing, and here's what I got:

Spaz, that is Rainmeter. I believe it's described in details in one of the guides.

I have so much shit on my desktop. I organize it and it gets back messy, just like my room. So I eventually said fuck it.
 
Thanks everyone for responses.

I currently have 2 gigabytes of RAM, 2 core proc and 512 mb graphic card on my laptop and Rainmeter does decrease performance, but only like for 10% or so.

I think that would be a great idea.
It's a really clean, nice desktop and I'm sure people would use your tutorial.
