I am REALLY bored right now... so I thought, lets write a Melee Levelling Guide.
3 - 25
Once you get out of tutorial island you are level 3.
Walk to Barbarian Village.
When you are there, go a little bit north till you see some cockroaches.
There you will see a entrance, not the rift, a little bit south.
Walk down there, walk into the open jail.
When you did that, click on the poster.
Now walk through the cave till you see a stair.
Climb that stair.
Now walk into the the first room to the west.
Pull the lever in that room. When thats done, walk down the stairs, then click on the first door you see.
Walk trough the place till you see a chest.
(Yes that is copy and pasted from my mage guide).
Use the 2x 500 xp lamps on any skill, preferably a combat skill.
You also got 10,000 gp. Walk to the Grand Exchange and buy some Iron Armour & Iron Scimitar. I also recommend you to buy Steel Armour and a Black Scimitar.
Once you got your gear, head to River Lum.
bones and save the cowhides & bank them. Do this till your combat level is 25.
25 - 60
Kill Hill Giants. They can be found in the Edgevillage Dungeon or you can use the house located south west of Grand Exchange, remember to use a brass key. Keep the big bones/use for prayer. You may want to bring some food in low level.
60 - 90
Now we want to go into the Stronghold of Security, the entrance is in Barbarian Village. The 3rd floor, there is some spider rooms. Go to the first which is south east (I think) from the portal. Kill the spiders, remember to bring food, because this is just for xp.
90 - 126
Cockroaches.... These are located in the cave I talked about in the step 1 - 25.
Kill the level 83 ones. Take everything that is noted/stacks up, also take the things that are worth over 1,000 gp.
I guess thats all for me, now I know I haven't got all spots etc... But this is the methods I use when I level my characters up.
