Love, How do you say it in your own language/dialect?

there's so many language that exist. but i was wondering how do you say the word LOVE, or how do you express it?

I'm from the Philippines, we say it Mahal Kita, as in I LOVE YOU, we show our love to our love ones, by caring for them, being thoughtful, and so many ways.

Love is an emotion of strong affection and personal attachment.in tagalog,mahal kita..in english i love you...in arabic....habibi...in Japanese ishtero different different words but in the same meaning.

In Cebuano we say Gihigugma tika. I think you are already aware in Tagalog/Filipino. In French it is "Je t'aime"; German "Ich liebe dich; Arabic and Japanese already mentioned; In Korean: Saranghe and in Chinese: Wo Ai Ni..."

w0w... you do know many language, one of my classmate have researched 100 different ways of saying 'I Love you' just to say it to his girlfriend. isn't that sweet? :love: :love:

Haha! Based from my personal experiences, I learned to say those words - I had been to different relationships with different nationalities (I am not proud of it, though) - French where I learned French of course, Syrian and Libyan where I learned Arabic, Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese and yeah, my boyfriend this time is Indian - I love you in his language (Hindi) is "Mhujay tum say pyaar hay".

whew! you're kewl!!! you have met different nationalities, though its through online right or you've been in their countries? wish i can learn about 20 'I love you' words/language.

Not online. I met them personally. I worked in an International Academy before as a Language Trainer. Are you familiar with Bigfoot International Academy of Film and Television in Cebu? I worked there for a long time. So, there are potpourri of faces in that institution and I usually mingle with foreigners much like because its my line of work. Well, that's the reason why I met them. I don't meet guys online because it's useless and dangerous.

gihigugma tika in bisaya or mahal kita in tagalog!

In our dialect, I love you means, "namumutan kita" its bicol dialect. I highly appreciated a guy who knows to say that word, coz it means to to me and I feel that he really love me the way I am.

hi, namumutan kita. hehehehe, whew, i wonder how many translation can 'i love you' have in filipino. i never thought just in filipino it can have so many translations.

in tagalog mahal kita,or iniibig kita in bisaya gihigugma taka,in chavacano te amo,chavacano is a broken spanish which is being use in Zamboanga city,phillippines

inaro ta ka for my dialect, Pangasinan...i studied basic German in college and it is ich liebe dich

whew! i can't memorize all of those, though they're mostly in filipino dialect. but it still amaze me, i wonder how is it said in dutch? or russian? hmmmm....

In Italy we say "Ti amo" to say "I love you" and we can just say it to our girlfriend/boyfriend. If we want to say that we care about our friends we can use the sentence "Ti voglio bene", which literally means "I want that the good is with you".

i love you means "ay-ayateng ka" or "dung-dungwen ka" its ilocano dialect.. sounds so sweet and romantic.. in kapangpanngan "kaluguran ta ka" anyway its an philippine dialect hehe.. mahal kita in tagalog

good day, same here i am from philippines also but in our dialect since i came from bikol love is Pagkamoot in bikol and i love you in bikol dialect was namomoot ako saimo.:Smile::Smile::Smile::Smile:

Mandarin- Wo ai ni
Hindi- Main thumse pyar karthi hu..
thats all I know
