That so called "Abilities" bar is just like most of the Ability bars from other MMORPG's like WoW etc.
I read a thread a while ago.. a Q&A thread where someone who predicted this asked if they would somehow introduce new movement with WASD keys like other mmorpg's Jagex's reply was
"Are you some kind of hidden Jmod? "
It might actually be reality
 
I'd assume it'd be for f2p too. No idea though haven't done any research I just watched the vid.
 
Yeah can't wait to play this. Seems like I might actually be able to pk now. I was never good with old pking because it was basically just sitting their and eating, now I should be pretty good now that I'm more involved with it

And it actually will require skill now instead of waiting to see who happens to hit the highest first.

Hybridded since around early 08', disappointed in this Combat Rework because i hear hybridding will be dead. Sadlife.
 
It will be for f2p, but they won't get as many actions or action bar spaces.
