Looking to upgrade PC parts

Looking to upgrade parts of my PC. for example: CPU, GPU etc.

I am also currently interested in water-cooling.

I don't play PC games often but its to know that I don't have to worry about that too much on upgrading for a while.
 
Current specs

This was pre-built.

AMD FX4100 Quad Core - 3.60 GHZ
Samsung HDD 750GB
4GB RAM
GPU: Onboard - sold my GPU in January.

Not 100% on the rest tbf.

Okay, well that is pretty poop. The only thing I see salvageable is the HDD, and maybe ram, but honestly its so cheap now you can get a set of 8gb for like 35-40 bucks.

What price range are you looking at?

Yeah, ikr - time for a upgrade or new build. I got this PC like 3-4 years ago
 
lmao ok - rn, $1200 would be my budget. let me know what you think I could get for that.
