Anyone here skate? I usually skate most days after school if I have time, and on the weekend I go and bomb hills around town, its a good hobby, and even better transport I must say.

Its really easy to learn, I just picked it up really fast and I'm not a co-ordinated person. Slowly gained stability downhill the better I got, its really fun once you get started.
 
I skate with my old skateboard. Once I breaked my leg badly but still after getting recovered, I started practicing again. I love this sport and as a hobby too
 
Its a good hobby, and a fun way just to keep your fitness up a bit. Also a good way to meet new people finding others down at well known hills and that.
 
Wow, I had never seen one until about 2 years ago, I've been skating for a year where I saw a few, and now there everywhere. They've picked up like crazy here in newcastle seeings it a beach city.
 
I tried. I failed.

I ended up hurting my back and my tailbone lol. I failed big time. Can't even walk properly for a few days :|
