Yep!

They use ASP/ASPX because they developed the language.

Get it? Because Microsoft wants to make money of ASP whereas PHP is free!
 
Theres no problem, just that microsoft have been trying to promote their web extension, when there are perfectly good other web extensions out there for free.

They are not trying to make money off ASP. They are trying to promote Windows Server with it.
 
bamb it your all geting me confused i thought they were trying to promote it and that you have to pay for it if you want it so they are trying to make money off it
 
No. Only Windows will run ASP. So they are using ASP to try and get everyone to go to Windows.
