Are you allowed to ask people to Like your post if it was a give away or something? Something I was wondering.

Well momentarily, yes, considering I haven't yet devised a set of rules on how to properly use the 'Like' function.

It is recommended that you don't go around requesting likes though.

Maybe say something such as "Likes are appreciated", but nothing forcefully making users like your post/thread, e.g. "Like my post to be entered into the giveaway", etc.
