Life changing night

If you get tired of me posting drunken threads please let me know and I will stop. I'm away at college and this is honestly as active as I can be.


Anyway, tonight might have changed my life. I'm probably the least emotional personal you'll every meet in real life, but am freindly, social, and have nothing but the best intentions for the people that I care about. Tonight I opened up and talked about me emotions for the first time with one of my good friends. I only feel the need to post this because I barely believe it happened.


I have never told anyone including my closest friends and direct family that I love them. I have never hugged my parents. I drink to forget about my everyday problems. I never learn my lesson the first time. I don't know my own limits and continue to push them. I have never personally spoken to anyone who has passed away, and I can't stop thinking about loosing my grandparents as it's only a matter of time. I'm not going to go into detail but they are very sick and have been for a long time. Oh, i'm also becoming seriously addicted to amphetamines.


I know most of you are probably thinking, "first world problems" to yourself right now but it fealt good to get this off my chest. I'm hoping now that i've finally gotten some of my issues out in the open with a person in real life I can change to become who I want to be.

Sorry for the rant, I don't expect responses.

I've talked to them many times over all my breaks but now I'm away at school. My grandpa is at the point where he has been incoherent for over two years.

I never talk about my problems either, I never hugged my parents so I have a bit of an idea what you're talking about.

Also what kind of amphetamines?

Guess we should learn to talk to people that we care about more often and actually tell them that we love them. Even if they already know it, it means the world to them to actually you hear say it. You never know what is going to happen.

I consider myself very lucky because I get to see my grandparents at least once a week. Well, I get to see my mom's parents....my dad's parents have both already passed away. I never got to meet my dad's dad as he died when my dad was young. But I still consider myself lucky to have at least one pair of grandparents who are the best grandparents I could ever ask for. Both of my grandparents are diabetic, my grandmom more-so than my granddad, and both also have heart problems. My grandmom has already had open-heart surgery before. My granddad was going to have heart surgery but they decided it safer to just give him medicine and nitroglycerin spray because of his age. However, if you saw them you probably wouldn't think they were sick in any way, shape, or form. They are both always very happy and I think that helps with their health quite a bit. Anyways, I love them very much and I am lucky to have them.

I am about to go see my grandparents now and do work around the house for them.
