I like it. Smudging looks kind of funny if that's smudging in the top left.
 
Looks ugly imo. The smudge needs to be blended with the render. It's good but idk, just doesn't seem to work a great deal. Maybe you could try smudging behind the render and put the render on top.

I would have done that, but it's a stock and not a render. I'll post the original.
 
You could try blending the smudge in with the whispy bits from the original perhaps.
 
It does not looks very appealing the way you did the smudging.

Yeah I'm starting to realize it just looks like a big thing of sbetnwsksjfvnwsvwjr. Lol.
