Laptop suggestions

I'm purchasing a new laptop soon (currently have a mac) and I need suggestions on what to get.

I love my HP Envy x360. 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, great display, as well as being touchscreen/convertible. Opinions vary, though. @Narc wasn't fond of it, and the one he'd chosen afterward was an insane deal.

Honestly I like the Macbook Air/Pro. But my aunt has used the ASUS 15.6" Touch-Screen Intel Core i7 8GB with 1 TB Hard Drive and she likes it.

I have a new Macbook Pro and I love mine. Are you looking for a gaming laptop maybe? If so get an Alienware 17. They are amazing!
