I wouldn't be pointless because there would be less koins circulating around.

I'm amazed I'm the first to pick option 1. I thought it was a no-brainer.

I'll lose $23 if we reset. Others will lose more than $80.
I'm for either option 1 or 2. I just feel like in the long run, option 2 would be better, but it is very unfair.

Yes, but if they're still the same worth it wouldn't matter. There would just be lower amounts that people would accept. If this were the case, the amount given would need to be reduced to a fraction of a koin for it to make any change. Giving out less than the current rate would be the only way to increase worth whatsoever.

I agree, but Philly said this would most likely only happen if the price also decreased, otherwise people would have a reason to be pissed.

You people are insane, if Philly resets Koins he's stupid. Reduce the volume.

Why would people have a reason to be pissed if they're earning less koins per post? The current ones shouldn't be touched.
The easiest way would be to remove the $1 rule, lower the payouts, raise costs in the shop (suggested this a long time go, not sure why it never happened), and add options to the shop. For example: upgrades should be at least 1.3x higher than purchasing with cash, username/user titles should be raised to at least 3,000, and maybe an arcade/betting area to blow your koins in when you have nothing better to do.

I agree, it was irritating the first time. Remember how pissed everyone was having to re-do rep 3 times? Now imagine that with monetary value.

Oh if their current values were't touched they wouldn't be. I meant if everyone's koins value was reduced by 1 digit and then the price stayed at $1 per 1000

Or let's just get rid of koins? They are retarded anyway.

@"Cann!bal" you may wanna update the News, it seems like the "Reduce" option has become the second most popular choice, and will most likely rise to the first.

less coins yeah but if they're worth the same this is entirely pointless lmao?

you said earlier they would be $1 per 100 then

and if you reduced and then stayed at $1 per 1000 then i could just pay 50 dollars for 50k coins and whoever had 50k coins and got reduced to 5k just lost 45 fucking dollars?

this is an awful idea im sorry

Don't lower member's koins total. Either reset it, or keep it. If you do anything in between those, people will get pissed. People love seeing higher amounts of statistics on their profile so if your koins go down an entire digit, they'll be angry. The fact that Philly has so many koins is a direct point as to why the koin value has diminished. He should hold contests constantly to get rid of those because no administrator needs that many koins. The market is controlled by its marketeers. If we say there is no value for koins, there won't be.

Yeah he edited his amount to sell some and such, which caused the inflation I believe. If we started over then he should never do that and all koins sold should be gained naturally through posting, lottery etc.

I definitely agree with that. As a forum administrator on several occasions I know that giving yourself all awards / all stats is just a bad idea.
