I will give someone half to all my koins if they can teach me how to (successfully) unlink a Facebook account from an Instagram, even if you don't know the password to the Instagram. Thanks.
EDIT: a friend from instagram has told me a method, will give it a try and if it doesn't work, I'll reopen.

Go to your profile
Tap
Tap Share Settings > the site's name > Unlink

you don't gotta know the pw to do that? alternatively you just gotta email instagram support

Not working for me.. It just keeps bringing me to Facebook
