Keep GTs safe?

Yeah, I have recently had a tag get scammed from me, and I looked up the topics the hot threads and I did everything it told me to (and i still got scammed). Now how the hell did a guy that just had my email jack my tag? It literally makes me not want to buy accounts knowing that they can be jacked so easily, it seems like once I get an OG account I wont be able to talk to anyone or anything so they cant get information, you know? \:

You can't jack a tag with just the email

Nope not even ratted. That's what I thought at first, but before I had the tag I got a bunch of software to prevent it and I NEVER download anything suspicious. Now if I fill out random stuff for everything on the account, like names, location and all that, is there a way it could still be jacked? (without ratting...)
