Why the hell was he demoted? It is a true video, very informational. I agree with him. The fact that someone is trying to sell new players gold is pathetic.
 
When it got to this stage.. Botters took it too far.

Jamflex need to do something about it.
 
We have Powerban and RSbuddy to thank for this.
I remember the good ol' days when RS cheating was left for those who either contributed or paid. It seems that to cheat you no longer need to do either.
I can't wait for Jagex to kill injection based bot clients.
 
I use RSBuddy, but not on a large scale like a lot of people. LRC is nuts, as well as Soul Wars which is not featured in the video.
 
That's crazy, they should just end the game now and stop all this madness.

You bot which makes you part of the problem don't try to justify yourself by saying you only bot a little bit or sometimes.

The only people that can say this need to stop is non botters.

You guys say oh yeah I want bots gone and this and that nobodys putting a gun to your heading saying "fucking bot or else" you bot because face it Runescape is shit.

It's always going to be this bad and get progressively worse and you know what great!

99 prayer is dirt cheap and herblore has never been cheaper.

Botting is good in some ways I rather bot then play legit.

I'll start off with I doubt the Pmod / fmod was demoted for this. Reason being there is no way to tell his username.

Secondly, maybe he was demoted, after all Tsgh Mike () was demoted after seven years of moderating both forum and game for saying jews are barbarians.

Third, yes. You're absolutely right. Botting has gotten to the point where it's tripled since 2005-07.

To be honest, everyday if I get free time I go to each f2p world in lumby and in varrock and mute all the spam. Seriously, I spend that much time. After that, I look in the mod centre to see how many mutes I issued. It's in the thousands.

Thank god that as a pmod I don't have a mute or report timer.

Rsbuddy and PB pretty much are destroying RS, I'd rather have them just become paid only then free.

Finally, a lot of bans are made that no one notices. Jmods always brag about the bans in the mod forums when I had access. They ban thousands of bots weekly, no joke or lie. They even shared the names a few times.

Reason why I don't have access is a long story, I'm still a pmod but... no forum access on rs.


For now, it's fine. I agree. It's hypocritical to say it needs to stop, but it has gotten out of hand.

Also IDC about the botters, I care about spam botters.
 
The problem they have is with the amount of botters. I am one. I only own one. Those people that run bot farms are ruining the game. I alone cannot make prayer or herblore dirt cheap, the people with bot farms can.

Stop trying to justify yourself if you bot you bot that's it you help the cause.

It doesn't matter if you own 1 or 100000 you contribute.

Telling people to stop botting while you bot is like a crack addict telling another crack addict to stop smoking crack.

Exactly. The only bots i care about atm and that i deal with is the spam bots. they really annoy me. i've never spammed.

You're wrong. That's all there is to it. I know it's hypocritical of me to say bot farms bad, me bot good, but I don't kill the game, I bot stuff that makes my account better. Has nothing to do with the RuneScape economy.

I didn't say botting was bad did I? I said having 200 bots that all do the same thing, and ruin the economy is bad. Thats where people go wrong. As well as the spam bots. Those are just annoying.

Auto typing is not against the rules anymore after the g.e update.

If it wasn't for bots you would have nothing on Runescape.

Because you know what everything would be 2b and you would complain "YISEVERYTHINGSOEXPENSIVE"

Would you rather have every item in the game being ridiculously high or ridiculously low.
 
I do agree it has gotten out of hand, and I don't bot for money profit, I only bot for skills, so yeah, I'm not really worried much, the bots are helping lower the price of skills.

I do however need to make an offtopic post that I sat and watched Jiblix videos for an hour at least.
