Hey guys I just got back from a Religious Christian bible camp from the woods. Over the camp they pretty much sumed up the whole bible :p. So I learned a lot of shit and if anyone has some questions just asked me and I'll try my best to answer. My strong points are Adam and Eve, Jonah, And the end. Remember I have limited education of a lot of parts. And I also want to learn more. 8)

Well that seemed like it was fun I'm going to be teaching some kids when I go to camp this summer.

God isn't real, my talking snake which hangs from the trees said so.

Nice man our paster really emphasized the end when that who is the purist besides God will crush the head of Satan and reverse the fall 8)

Do you actually, genuinely believe in a being that is completely eternal, omniscient and omnibenevolent?

Who watches over our every move to make sure we are not breaking the rules that were set in a book over 2,000 years old?

Who sends millions of children to eternal damnation every year because they have not yet heard or had chance to hear the word of his gospel?

Hell, if he does exist I sure don't want him as my 'god'.

makes more sense then a damn explosion happening from nothing.
It takes more faith to believe in a theory then to believe in God.

God never wanted death to Lucifer ( Satan ), He casted Lucifer out of Heaven because Lucifer wanted to be a new God and take place on God's throne.
If God wanted Lucifer dead he already would have been. Lucifer was God's most cherished Angel.

Isn't that what Adam and Eve did?

Who mentioned anything whatsoever about the big bang theory? There are MANY more theories out there than just the big bang.

Also, it does not take more 'faith' to believe in a theory over the idea that a being that did not need to be created because it is infinite and eternal.

There's is a very large difference between the two. A theory is usually presented with a form of evidence to support the notion of that theory. Many people around the world then work together to test the theory and gather evidence to either prove or disprove it. Experiments are constantly taking place, measurements being taken, and the theory can be accepted, changed or disproven based upon the evidence gathered.

On the other hand, religion just accepts the 'fact' that there is an eternal being that watches over us our entire life, who we are being judged by and can condemn us to eternal damnation in hellfire. Who's only 'evidence' is a 2,000 year old book, full of contradictions, 'metaphors' and morally corrupt teachings.

EDIT: This is for you, Kill.

Actually ever since the garden of Eden he hinted that there would be a person who would destroy Satan and he hasn't killed Lucifer yet because he wanted mankind to have a choice and once there is no sin in mankind one will fully destroy Satan

there was no evidence we evolved from apes, or an explosion that caused all of this. Its alot easier to believe in a higher being. Just think about it how did the earth, sun, stars, most importantly us come from? There has to be a creator.

Look at the video I just posted by the way, that gives a large amount of evidence to evolution. There are also many, many studies that also give evidence towards evolution. The guy who presents the evidence in that video is also a Roman catholic.

Also, of course it is easier to believe in a higher being. But life is not about taking the easy choices. If religion had had its way we would've all still been in the medieval times, burning 'witches' at the stake for 'magic'.

Also, I don't get why you can say there must have been a creator, but then surely using that logic God must've had a creator? But no! God doesn't need a creator, God is eternal and has always existed!

Alright, fair enough. Come back when you're feeling better and we can carry on. ^^

It's not about winning, just interesting to debate. I'll just wait for a reply from Kill for now. :p
