I cracked the case!!!!

Well, haha I finally figured it out. So yesterday I whaled a kid. I found a epic bot client picture with an email. I then searched for that same email in his logs and got the password. The password entailed finding another email with boat loads of accounts... including forums, xbox live, runescape, other mmorpg's, etc..

So whaling does pay off.

I recovered a level 3? pure and a level 95

Hopefully all that investigating paid off with more than what was in those pictures D:. It's all good fun even if it didn't I suppose.
 
I'm trying to link some more of his RS accounts. These two had the same passwords -.- dumbass. I'll probably sell some of the accounts since I've secured his emails.
 
I'm surprised all of his accounts are so easily traced -.- but thank you :D

I never really understood what whaling is so i dont know how hard this is to do. But good job!

@Exo He has 3 that I know of. I have them all in my pocession.
@Absent It honestly isn't hard. I picked it up in 2 hours!
 
Quality of pictures sucks. Use Screensnapr and select pic format PNG.
Anyways, nice, but total loot was like? 500k?
But keep it up, you might hit someone with many more gp.
 
I believe he has a ring of accounts. So his money was spread out. He is trying so hard to recover his emails. -.- I'm going to try and get ahold of him and SE the rest of his shit :evil:

I'm just starting ha, still need to learn how to decode the encryptions
 
Glad someone learned without me spoonfeeding them, grats on not only a good whale but being able to be self-taught.
 
Ha, yeah I didn't know what program to use so I researched and what not. But I might ask you about decoding, I haven't figured out what hash it is D: I thought it was MD5 but I couldn't rainbow table it
