I know the staff can do this. I would say this is kind of useless. I say being able to close/re-open your thread is better. You can just ask the staff to un-junk your thread.

How is it useless? Some people junk threads by accident, and I myself have junked a lot of threads that were actually useful. What's the point in asking Staff if you can just do it yourself.

It would actually be a good idea, since when you junk threads the forum loses stats, so bringing back a thread with a lot of replies would boost the forum stats.
