July Update

Ok so heres just an update of what has happened in the past few days and what we plan to do for the rest of the month.

New Social Buttons

• I've added a new social / share plugin which will allow you to share a thread with the social network of your choice. You can find these above the first thread post.

Profile Improvements

• Gaming IDs can now be added to your profile from the user cp. If you check out your profile you can see that it looks great and holds the network icons.
• Social Networks, ive adapted the social sites plugin so that the social networks are now shown on your profile in the same style as the gaming ids talked about above. You may notice that the icons are still shown on the postbit but if you leave the social network field blank, the icon is stll shown. Im working on a way to remove the icon if you dont post your user details of that specific network.

Advertising

• Ive added some advertising blocks to the quick reply table at the bottom of each thread. Still working on improving the look and position of them but they are both fully operational and the advertising space can be purchased from here

Been busy recently, with looking for a job etc, but will be getting back in action soon.

Competitions

• We've had a few problems with some of the competitions in the past, but now with more time, i can prepare more and better contests for you including phyiscal prizes such as DVDs, Games and Cash.

Staff Wages

• Wages will be introduced for moderators and staff when we bring more members to the forum.

Counter Strike Clan

• Although I didnt really want to create a Modern Warfare 3 clan due to extar costs etc. I'd like to create a Counter Strike 1.6 or Source clan in a few weeks time. It will be kept completely seperate from the forum and the forum will only support the clan. This will ensure that money earnt on the forum will be used only for the forum. The Clan will have its own section in the forum. More info nearer the creation date.

yes when the clan for CS is made i will make a competition and 1st prize will be CS source or 1.6 (source FTW) and some of the stuf sounds nice but im not sure how we are going to aford to pay carolus tho :/

Personal preference really. I like 1.6 for gameplay but the grqphics on source are better.

As I have told Bleepy, I'm not interested in getting paid. While I appreciate the offer, it's a hobby not work.

Yeah. I wouldn't want to be paid either. If we had 500k members and 10,000 posts per day I'd want to though

of corse your loved carolus and for me as bleepy said its just personal prefrence and i would rather play on source becaus of the graphics and it looks more real :/ but i am happy to play 1.6 in a clan if i must lol

And if you dont want to be paid then that means we can spend more on advertising and hopfuly get more members
