JFK Assassination conspiracy.

I'm in the middle of typing up my paper for English on two conspiracies of the assassination of JFK.
One I'm typing is about Lee Harvey Oswald and I've got a few questions that I haven't really been able to figure out..

Was Oswald out shooting his rifle days before the motorcade went by, or was his wife just taking pictures of him flaunting the weapon?

And what was the rifle and pistol that he had used?

A Carcano Model 91/38 carbine was used to kill him, not a pistol.

I've got google open right now, I'm just having a hard time finding those two things, especially the first one..

Actually, I watched a film, I do not want to get into full detail but a secret service member actually was looking who shot at JFK the first time and got a got out and accidentally killed JFK. Sounds stupid, just google it and what not.
