Java de-installing error

So I just re-installed my Windows XP because this laptop was getting really slow etc., and I wanted to install Java again, but it's not working, so I wanted to de-install it and I keep on getting this error:


When I try to just install Java again, it says I need to get rid of the old version first.

Can someone help me please?

I think I'll just run the Windows XP setup again. Thanks tho
