I don't understand the correlation between Japanese text and looking cool, I just can't grasp that concept.

i find it pretty funny reading it since it's google translated and makes no sense if you can actually understand japanese :)

not that i know of i just learned japanese at university and find it funny how bad the translations are what people do on here

Personally I don't look or see them as a Japanese wannabe's. I just see them as people who are interested in the Japanese font or a meaning behind it.
They can also be anime lovers, just expressing their love for it? Idk, I could be wrong but ask them why they like it lol

The reason I have that GIF in my sig isn't bc of the Japanese text, drift is lyf and that GIF looks nice.

"weaboo" and "cooL" don't correlate x x x x


using random Japanese text is akin to what Superdry brand does, using it ironically, and on the other spectrum, Japanese using English randomly

but in most context on forumkorner, it's not ironic :s
 
Everybody's turning into a weeb, oh god. I guess people just use the text because it looks cool? It's a popular things these days on the internet for some reason.

I'm actually asian (not saying from where but I'm not bollywood asian or whatever lmfao)
I don't watch anime. (even though my avatar is from an anime. That was the only anime i've watching. Death note - best shit ever btw) 

I just use it because it looks cool. Not because I'm some fanboy of japan. I just find their language interesting.
Don't give a flying fuck about anything else from them. Well except their funny game shows. 

People are just fans of the culture I guess.....
Its just as many are fans of other culture such as the "American" lifestyle.
