Jailbreak PS3

So I was thinking of jailbreaking my PS3. Does upgrading to 4.80 work? I am currently on a 4.76 OFW and I want to jailbreak it.

Save yourself the trouble and buy a PS3 already jailbroken. If you want to jb yourself then that would be the cheaper option but there's more of a chance you can mess up and possibly brick your ps3
