i've been having pain in my lower knee so i went to see the doctor today...

i took an X-ray and it turned out to be Osgood-Schlatter Disease...

It is the Fragmentation of the tibial tubercle is seen with adjacent mild soft tissue swelling in the shin or under the knee...


No soccer/P.E. for 1 whole month

I'm need medical degree to know what this means, so i just going to say im sorry that you have aids but its 21st century you never know what treatments are availible.
 
I have the same thing, i'm out for 6 years. Stop complaining.
 
It means your bones are scraping against eachother and building up after the kneecap, it is painful to do anything.

I have it, and I have 6years left before i can do sports. I've done physio for about a year and it didn't help. It heals by itself.

Cry about it, most guys in their teens get it at some point or another. The fact that you play soccer isn't going to be affected.
